In this video, I'll show how to fix GTA 5 Enhanced Edition crash, GTA 5 Enhanced crashing, and GTA V Enhanced crash on startup. <br /><br />1. Go to the game folder <br />2. Select "PlayGTAV" <br />3. Right-click it <br />4. Click on "Properties" <br />5. Click on "Compatibility" <br />6. Check "Disable fullscreen optimizations" <br />7. Check "Run this program as administrator" <br />8. Click on "Apply" <br />9. Click on "OK" <br />10. Select "PlayGTAV" <br />11. Right-click it <br />12. Click on "Show more options" <br />13. Click on "Create shortcut" <br />14. Select the shortcut <br />15. Right-click it <br />16. Click on "Properties" <br />17. Press the RIGHT ARROW key to go to the end of path <br />18. Press the SPACE BAR key <br />19. Write -dx12 <br />20. Click on "Apply" <br />21. Click on "OK" <br />Make sure to always launch the game using this shortcut. <br />22. Go to "Documents" <br />23. Open "Rockstar Games" folder <br />24. Open "GTA V Enhanced" folderr <br />25. Select the "settings" file <br />26. Right-click it <br />27. Click on "Delete" <br /><br />Finally, also keep in mind that you should set "PlayGTAV" to run as administrator, and not the other executables, otherwise the game may not launch.
